It's been about six weeks since we did this project and at that time I posted it to Facebook, but had not taken the time to post it here. I figured I had waited long enough.
We bought a dresser for 40.00 and a 1.5 hr ride to get it...spent the weekend stripping, sanding, and staining to change it into an entertainment center. I had been looking for a good low priced dresser of this style for a long time to do this. We went with a Sangria Red because we have a red couch and I wanted to pull that color across the room. It was a lot of hard work and is not perfect. We will probably replace the back board and redo the holes for the components when we move next year.
