So, this week we are to name at least one thing I am looking forward to reading this year. Well, I can't name just one.
I am always looking forward to reading the new Nora Roberts and J.D. Robb books that come out every year and I am behind on J.D. Robb for 2008, so I look forward to catching up there and reading the Key Series by Nora Roberts that I still have not gotten to in the past few years.
I am really looking forward to reading Brisingr by Christopher Paolini. This young man started writing this series when he was just 15. It is an amazing series and I look forward to finishing it up. I just wish they could have done better with the movie.
I plan to read the series Percy Jackson and the Olympians by Rick Riordan. This is a fantasy series that is right up my alley. Percy Jackson is a 12 year old and an illegitimate child of a god. Proves to be an interesting series.
I have like 58 books on my to read list right now so I'll just list one more series I plan to read.
The Austin Family Chronicles by Madeliene L'Engle also looks to be an interesting series. I love books about real life and people. These look to be heartwarming stories that we all should read once in awhile.
Wow, to begin to write at age 15 ...
ReplyDeleteBTW: your link is taking people to an old post. You may want to delete it and relink.
Happy New Year.
58 books! Oh my! I hope you get them all read this year! Happy New Year to you! Thanks for visiting my blog :)
ReplyDeleteHope you like Brisingr. I still haven't read Eldest!
ReplyDelete15?! Holy moly......
ReplyDeleteLet us know how that one reads, eh? I'd be curious.
*sigh*
I'm still plodding though the pile by the bedstand.
NOT making any progress of course....LOL
Suppose that's cuz I just look at 'em and don't open 'em up?
That MIGHT be a part of the problem, huh.....
